Overijssel is a province with many natural environments and we want to keep it that way. By ensuring that the conditions are right, we protect species of flora and fauna, enabling us to maintain natural environments and develop them. The provincial authority is looking for a solution that will allow us to examine whether we are meeting the objectives of our nature policy. We would also like to know how many species of plants and animals there are in a particular area, and what those species are.
