BOOMBRIX is IoT sensing unit which via dashboard will provide municipalities with guidance on tree watering. Collected data will be used to build digital models of urban trees in the cities to determine the optimal choice of remedies for climate change challenges. We have designed and built a working prototype and now preparing our first non-commercial pilot in Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The Amsterdam-based team behind BOOMBRIX are Noelle Teh – landscape architect and urban designer with 15+ years of experience and practice in Asia-Pacific and Jakub Supera – technology-based product designer with 7+ years of experience and practice in Europe.
