KOPPL

March 2018.

Recently Thuiszorgagenda launched a new project, KOPPL. In Dutch, ‘koppel’ means ‘to link’, and that’s exactly what they do. Recently, the KOPPL team installed their first digital columns in community centres in Stadsdeel Centrum in Amsterdam. Through these columns and the KOPPL website, local residents can send out a request for help, either for medical care, small household chores or a cup of coffee and a chat. KOPPL then automatically matches the request with the right organisation or caregiver. All care organisations, social communities and neighbourhood police officers involved are enthusiastic about the project and look forward to the first results of the pilot. You can go and see these digital columns yourself at the community centres De Boomspijker, de Witte Boei and Het Claverhuis.
