Do you want to help make the Netherlands a better place with your startup? The Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations has launched an innovative programme with the objective to cooperate with innovators: the Startup in Residence (SiR)
Therefore the Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations is looking for ambitious startups to find innovative ways to tackle these challenges. During the five month program, startups will receive various coaching and training sessions and work together with representatives from the Ministry and its partners. If the collaboration turns out to be a success, the Ministry will act as a launching customer for the startup.
The Startup in Residence programme offers you the opportunity to work together with the government and test your ideas with the ministry. Ideas can be submitted until December 10th (5 p.m.) for more information look at our application page.
For each challenge, selected startups are given the opportunity to present their solution. These presentations are judged by a jury. They will choose one winner for each social issue, who can participate in the SiR program. The startup receives 25.000 euros to develop their prototype. After five months of intensive collaboration between startup and the ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations, the program ends with a working prototype. The startup will present this prototype to the challenge owners and potential customers during Demo Day in mid-2019.
